New “Armored” Spiders Found

Some spiders now have a strong defense, apparently.

According to scientists, five new species of spiders have been found in caves in China.

These spiders have plates around their abdomen that look like armor. Don't worry, you will not see these in your house anytime soon since they were just found in caves. So put your heavy boots, flame throwers and frying pans away. Though I will leave you with this fact; the number of new species of spiders in the last ten years jumped from 2,300 to 4,300.
