Sports fans usually have a love/hate relationship with referees, but thus might make you love NFL referees a little bit more. The National Football League Referees Association is giving a grant to the Estes Park School District to help repair athletic facilities that were damaged in the devastating Colorado Floods.

According to Denver Broncos.com, the grant will be given to Principal Chuck Scott and Athletic Director Janet Bielmaier during the pregame activities at the Broncos vs. Redskins game this Sunday.

9News reports that the district will use some of the $10,000 grant to repair the Estes Park High School track with was severely damaged by the flood.

The NFLRA is the bargaining representative for the 119 Game Officials and 17 Replay Officials in the NFL. The association is governed by an elected Board of Directors and an Executive Director and supports the advancement of the officiating profession at all levels as well as several charitable activities.
