Missing Child Near Drake Found Unresponsive
UPDATE: The child who was missing near Drake did not survive. A 911 call was made by the child's mother. The mom said the last time she saw the child was about 30 minute prior to going to sleep. When she woke up, for the door ajar and the child was gone. The child was located in the water about 400 yards down river from the home.
This morning at around 9:30 a.m. a child that was less than five years old was reported missing from a residence near Drake, which is an unincorporated part or Larimer County, to Larimer County Sheriff's Office.
LCSO Emergency Services, Deputies, and Larimer County Seach and Rescue began the search for the child in the 1500 block of West Highway 34. The child was found around 30 minutes later east of the location unresponsive. CPR was started, then the child was transported to a local hospital.
