If you haven't seen the clip above, give it a watch a learn how not to deal with a faulty teleprompter. Director Michael Bay was on stage at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show and had an embarrassing meltdown on stage that is now reaping the wrath of the Internet.

Bay was on stage with Samsung's Executive Vice President, Joe Stinziano, to talk about Samsung's new 105-inch curved UHD televisions and he either skipped a line intended for the Samsung guy or was looking at a malfunctioning teleprompter and got flustered and angry, failed to pull off any kind of ad-lib, and then stormed off stage.

In my line of work, that kind of thing happens a lot and you have to be ready to fly by the seat of your pants. So, part of me feels bad for Bay seeing as he is not known for his public speaking. However, if you're going to be on that big of a stage, doing anything, I'd think you would have done at least a little homework to sound competent about a product you are lending your name to.
The other part of me thinks of how he butchered my childhood with what he did to Transformers and I'm afraid of what he may be thinking about desecrating in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie and I get a little bit of joy watching him squirm on stage.
Does that make me a bad person? Probably, but I don't wish anything bad to happen to the guy, I just wish he's quit trying to ruin things I love.
