Matt Nathanson “Kinks Shirt” [Video]

Matt Nathanson was one of my most favorite Point Unplugged performances we've had the pleasure of hosting. He provided stories behind most of his songs and with "Kinks Shirt" we learned the inspiration came from a waitress at a local diner the band would frequent while recording their latest album Last of the Great Pretenders. He even shared that someone has since told the waitress that this song was about her, and he "can never go back to that diner".
