Man Falls Asleep In Drive-Thru, Gets Arrested For DWI

Drinking, driving and drive-thrus are not a good combination, just ask this New York man who was arrested for a DWI after falling asleep while waiting in line at a drive-thru restaurant.

According to MyWay, employee’s at a McDonald’s called police to report a man asleep at the wheel in their drive-thru lane at two-in-the-morning. Police showed up and found the 32-year-old, still asleep, with his engine running.

I’m sure they had a fun time waking him up and giving him a sobriety test, which he failed by blowing a .14, nearly twice the legal limit.

Thankfully no one was hurt and hopefully, this guy learned that sober drivers are a must for late night, drunken fast food runs.
