Picasso: Visage

This exhibit will include 35 print originals and is an exploration not only of Picasso’s expertise over a wide variety of print media, but a continuation of questions posed by the artist himself, “are we to paint what’s on the face, what’s inside the face, or what’s behind it?”

Posing for Picasso

The unfolding drama of Pablo Picasso’s life often made its way into his compositions, and at times, directed his artistic experimentation.  This exhibit reveals the extent to which Picasso’s models were integrated into his artistic journey and the importance of his studio as a creative theme.
