They started in Colorado in 2008 as a very unique ice cream company, and have been branching out, ever since. It's hard to believe that they now have ten shops across the state.

It's great that they succeed with all the competition out there, with Dairy Queen, Baskin Robins and such; but they are more about the scoops, maybe that's why they're so loved.

To think, it all began with that giant milk can.

Colorado's Little Man Ice Cream Celebrates 10th Location

The very first Little Man Ice Cream location opened inside a 28-foot tall milk can in 2008 near Speer Boulevard and I-25 in the LoHi neighborhood. I've been there, and it's truly amazing. How did they even come up with such an idea?

One of the neat things about Little Man is that (for the most part) all of their locations are different in some way; they're not cookie-cutter shops that all look the same. They all have different names, as well.

Little Man Ice Cream Has Very Unique Shops

They're location in Fort Collins, Old Town Churn, is just that: A giant ice cream churn. It has to be a hoot to work out of it, serving smiling faces ready for a treat.

Little Man Ice Cream Opens 10th Location in October of 2024

16 years into their operation, Little Man Ice Cream Company, opened their 10th location in Colorado in Littleton.

We aim to serve more than just ice cream, but instead, offer an experience as a community hub that will make memories for families throughout their lives.

Maybe the best thing about Little Man Ice Cream Company is their "Scoop for Scoop" program, where with every scoop they sell, a portion goes to support organizations focusing on education, childhood welfare, hunger relief, agriculture and sustainability, and STEAM programs.
