Leslie Jones: From CSU to SNL, and Now Back [VIDEO] [NSFW]
She's a baller.
That is in the figurative sense and the literal sense. She might not play as much ball as she used to, but she still be ballin'. Let me refer you to the Urban Dictionary and their definition.
One whose status in society has been earned by one's possession of "game" (that is, proficiency at the game of life)
It means she's cool. She's accomplished things.
Also, she used to play basketball at Colorado State University, so there's that. She's a Ram alum, and started her career at a comedy night in Fort Collins.
Now she is on Saturday Night Live, in the new Ghostbusters film, and is pretty much on fire.
“All of my friends were there, and I got up on stage and just killed it,” Jones told CSU Magazine last fall. “I felt like I had been doing it forever. It all came together the first time I heard that laughter.”
Jones’ stand-up comedy show is free for CSU students with ID, $15 for general public. Tickets available online at csutix.com or in person at the box office in the LSC.
This presentation is sponsored by RamEvents and the CSU Alumni Association.
