I knew it was still dry in Colorado, but I could have sworn we were recovering from "drought" status.  Apparently not.

The USDA has declared 43 Colorado counties, including Larimer and Weld, to be drought disaster areas, according to the Coloradoan.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s declaration means that farmers and ranchers in the counties are eligible for Farm Service Agency assistance.

Maybe I should dig out my rain stick and pray for mercy from the rain gods.  Anything is better than nothing at this point!
