City Park Pool: Labor Day is all about the dogs. It’s the annual Pooch Plunge. (No swimming for humans) Bring your four-footed friend for a swim at City Park to end the summer! Tickets go on sale August 1 at City Park Pool. Cost: $5/dog, day of event $8/dog, all ages welcome. This is fun to watch.
Foothills Mall: Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Front Range Village Shopping Center: Store hours vary.
Home Improvement: Lowes open regular hours, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Home Depot open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Libraries: Closed.
Liquor stores: Some open, some closed.
Museums: Fort Collins Museum & Discovery Science Center The Museum’s current building was closed on October 30, 2011. The plan to open the new Museum to the public on November 10, 2012.
