If you were wishing for a bigger La Luz with a patio in Old Town Fort Collins, your wish will be granted. But it will come at the price of Rasta Pasta closing their doors.

According to the Coloradoan Rasta Pasta will close its Old Town location in May, so La Luz Mexican Restaurant can move to the corner of Walnut and Pine and take advantage of a bigger space and the patio. Apparently, Rasta Pasta has one other restaurant in Breckenridge, but they are looking for a place to move their Fort Collins restaurant to after they vacate the Walnut Street location.

That's good news, when I first saw the headlines about this I thought Rasta Pasta was going to be added to the rather large list of recent restaurant closures in town.

In the end things could work out great for both restaurants, but Rasta Pasta and La Luz have shared that street corner for 15 years. Old Town is sure going to look different without one of them there.

Where do you think would be an ideal landing spot in Fort Collins for a relocated Rasta Pasta?
