La Luz, the popular Mexican grill in Old Town Fort Collins has now reopened after several people became sick with salmonella.

The outbreak happened in late August, and at least five people were hospitalized according to The Denver Channel.

On August 31, the restaurant issued a statement expressing an apology, and after complying with the health department, La Luz is back open for business as of 7:30 this morning (Tuesday, September 11).

La Luz is excited to announce that we will be reopening tomorrow, September 11th, to the public at 7:30am. We will be resuming regular business hours.

We are would like to thank each and everyone of our customers for their continued support during this time.
