Katy Perry to Debut Video for ‘The One That Got Away’ on Ellen Today
Today Katy Perry will appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to premier her brand new video for "The One That Got Away."
The video will be posted on EllenTV.com right after her appearance and on Vevo later this afternoon. There is a 7-minute extended version of the video that will be shown exclusively in movie theatres during advance screenings of the new film "My Week With Marilyn."
“The One That Got Away” video was directed by film and video director Floria Sigismondi, who also directed Katy’s MTV Video Music Award-winning clip for “E.T.”
This is the sixth single released from Katy’s double-platinum second album, "Teenage Dream." If it reaches #1 she would be the first artist to EVER have six #1 singles on one album.
Katy is only the second artist, and the first female, to notch five No. 1’s in the Hot 100’s 53-year history.
