"Red Nose Day" is a big deal in the UK that involves celebrities and regular people, as they get together to raise awareness and fight poverty thought entertainment. This Friday, March 13, "Red Nose Day" kicks off in the United Kingdom, however the inaugural event in the United States kicks off this May. As a way to spread awareness, people all around the world wear red clown noses in pictures posted on social media. Red Nose Day here in the U.S. is organized by Comic Relief, and they are partnering with NBC to air a three hour entertainment spectacular with the goal of raising lots of money for a great cause.

In support of "Red Nose Day," Sam Smith invited John Legend to join him on a special, moving rendition of "Lay Me Down." I know Red Nose Day in the U.S. isn't until May, however I'm really excited to be a part of it.
