If you've been on Facebook lately lots of people are chiming in about gun laws, the second amendment and Pres. Obama's stance. Former Bronco's quarterback recently said in an interview that he is questionable about the high powered weapons.

Elway has stated that he has guns in his own home and practices the sport of hunting but the former Bronco doesn't see why any civilian would need any military-style weapons like the ones that were used in recent mass shootings.

Elway is a supporter of the second amendment but is anxious to "hear more about the issue." Elway also stated that "if that's the solution that can prevent some of these catastrophes going on at these grade schools, then I'm all for the solution."

This interview came after President Obama has made a strong stance with gun control which involves a ban on certain assault weapons and more extensive background checks on patrons wishing to purchase a gun.
