Yves Rossy, the self-proclaimed 'Jetman' just performed another death-defying stunt; flying in formation with real jets above the Swiss Alps.

Call it crazy, call it innovation, call it triumph of the human spirit... I just wish I could wake up and find one of his jet packs under my Christmas tree!

You have to appreciate the 'doing-something-no-one-thought-possible' aspect of this guy's story. Making a homemade jet sounds hard enough, let alone making yourself into a jet.

According to FoxNews Rossy used to fly fighter jets with the Swiss air force and now flies a custom fit jet suit that enables him to fly at speeds in excess of 125 mph.

He is the first man in the history of aviation to fly with a jet-propelled wing (which he first did in 2006). Since then he has flown over the Swiss Alps, crossed the English Channel, flown over the Grand Canyon, and countless other air-acrobatics.

You can also check out the Jetman website and see all kinds of photos and videos of Jetman in action, or check out his YouTube channel.

Cool stuff.
