This past weekend, residents of a city in Colorado were caught off guard after spotting what appeared to be a boat cruising around the city streets.

At least three of the videos were published by Pueblo resident Debbie Cassares Sierra, all of which you can view here, leaving members of the community in astonishment as many wondered what this vehicle cruising around town actually was.

The vessel was spotted driving by one of the city’s local hospitals on the north side of town, then again on Pueblo’s south side neighborhoods.
It turns out that, yes, it was a boat, but there was much more to the story.

Colorado Boat/Car Hybrid is Allegedly Street Legal

It turns out that the vehicle seen out of its element in Pueblo over the weekend was pretty much exactly what it looked like - a hybrid of a boat and a car.

It was built by the owner of a company called Marine Repair LLC, named “Captain” Josh Bond, the same man seen driving the unique vessel down the city streets. The other man, who can be seen riding in the back, is Joseph Ortiz, who is an employee of the same company.

According to Bond, the vehicle is a Volvo 960 with a boat affixed to it and is completely street legal.
