Former Colorado Craft Brewery Is Now New Pizza Hot Spot

Colorado has more than a few award-winning pizza joints across the state; Loveland became home to the second location of award-wining pies out of Longmont.

Thousands of people across Colorado love a good pizza, that's why we find so many places serving it up. There's an establishment out of Longmont that has been doing so well, that they're ready to take on more.

They heard about a craft brewer shutting down in Downtown Loveland, and decided that that spot would be their first expansion location.

Former Crow Hop Brewing Location in Loveland, Colorado Becomes Pizza Joint

Crow Hop Brewing operated out of Downtown Loveland from 2013 until the summer of 2023. It was a shame to have to see them leave their great little taproom that they had along Fourth Street; the place had charm, as well as great beers.

In early 2024, it was announced that Urban Field and Market, in Longmont, would be taking over the space vacated by Crow Hop. So, instead of tasty beers at 214 East Fourth Street, people would be enjoying tasty pizza.

Award Winning Pizza in Colorado Finds Second Home in Loveland

After renovating the space, Urban Field opened in Loveland in late July of 2024. Urban Field, which opened in Longmont in 2022, has won awards for its pies, created by Co-Founder/Culinary Director/Head Chef, Nick Swanson.

The Loveland location of Urban Field does not have the market like in Longmont, but that doesn't take away from it being a great spot for pizza. They definitely made the Crow Hop space their own, the only thing that's really the same is the brick wall along the east side of the restaurant.

While Downtown Loveland already had Slice n' Roll Pizza & Pub at Fourth and Cleveland, the two pizza places can easily exist in the same area. They both serve pizza, but they are different in there own ways.
