Take a Swing at Fun: Windsor Getting 2nd Golf Simulator Bar

Colorado golf courses can be fun, but they also cater to serious golfers and can be expensive. Golf simulator bars, however, bring "the links" to regular folks looking for some fun, as well as serious golfers keeping their skills up.

Second Golf Simulator Bar Coming to Windsor, Colorado

I'm the kind of guy that's much better at watching golf than playing golf. I do enjoy playing disc golf, but not many people think of it as "a lot like golf," so I try not to mention it when "real" golf comes up.

When Loveland's first (and currently only) golf simulator bar opened I was one of the first to check it out with a buddy who golfs; I was not very good. If a golf simulator is a way to see if a person has the aptitude for it, It was clear that I do not. It was still a fun time, though.

Windsor has had a golf simulator bar for many years, at The Sand Bar, at Pelican Lakes Resort & Golf. As the bar is open to the public, a coworker and I used to have a couple of beers after work there, watching folks in their bays. Again, I'm great at watching golf.

There is another golf simulator facility in Windsor, JD's Golf Garage. It's more of an "equipment" shop that also has a simulator area, where you can buy a beer. I just don't think it would qualify as a "bar," so when the new one opens, that will be Windsor's second "golf simulator bar."

What is the New Golf Simulator Bar in Windsor?

Before the end of 2025, folks will be officially introduced to The King's Tee.
