Stores in Colorado, across the state, have lots of Halloween decorations; some small, some big, some very big. You won't, however, find this one-of-a-kind decoration in any Colorado store; you'll only find him in Loveland, and as of 2025, he's got a friend.

When the world seems so crazy at times, it's great to find something that can make just about everybody smile: A giant skeleton out on a yard playing a "pipe organ" attached to the roof. The homeowners that came up with the idea have not only creativity in their hearts, but are handy with a hammer and nail, too.

I live in Downtown Loveland, but that doesn't mean that I walk down all the streets of Downtown every day, but you would have thought that I'd known about "Bonzart" sooner than I did in 2024. Bonzart first went up on 7th Street in Downtown in 2023, a full year before I did story on him. Right after, I began following the skeleton's Facebook page, watching the seasons change, along with Bonzart's attire: for Christmas, for Valentine's Day, etc.

In the summer of 2025, Bonzart posted a photo of a large piece of art, a "stand up" bass, implying that the bass would be joining "the band." About one week later, indeed, a vampire named Johnny playing that bass, had joined Bonzart on the lawn, as part of the band.
