Colorado's entertainment scene will be taking a blow in early 2024, with the closure of the legendary Boulder Dinner Theatre, known as BDT Stage.

There aren't many places in Colorado where you can catch a "dinner and a show;" with this venue closing, it brings an era of food and fun to and end. How many Coloradans actually had the opportunity to see a show there?

I remember being a student at Loveland High School and there being an excursion with a group of us students to Boulder Dinner Theatre. I wish I could tell you what show it was that we saw, but it was a great night.

Having been around since 1977, great nights are now coming to an end.

COLORADO'S BOULDER DINNER THEATRE CLOSING

In the summer of 2021, the building that is home to BDT Stage was sold; the end, in dramatic fashion, was imminent for the longtime theater. They'll be closing out their final season and final nights with a production of "Fiddler on the Roof."

Saturday, January 13, 2024, as the production company takes their final bows, will come to the end of BDT Stage, and Boulder Dinner Theatre.
