HOW DO YOU GET RID OF TURKEYS IN YOUR YARD IN COLORADO?

This seems like a very good question; most of us know that you can't just shoot a turkey, wherever you see one, in Colorado. You have to have a license to do so, and can only hunt in specific locations. So, what do you do?

According to the Humane Society of the United States, try these five good tips:

  • WAVE YOUR ARMS, MAKE SOME NOISE

"Hey, you turkeys! Move along! I'm a crazy person, who wants no part of your shenanigans"

  • A LEASHED DOG MIGHT SCARE THEM OFF

Your dog probably has something to say about these things in the yard, let them say it.

  • KEEP POPPING AN UMBRELLA OPEN IN THEIR DIRECTION

This is probably to make like there is a BIG turkey in their line of sight. Or, there's a chance of rain, and they should avoid the storm.
