Wind gusts blew through cities and towns. In Windsor, Some of us thought we were going to see a tree get blown into our building. The gusts of wind went on for what felt like hours on end. If you thought it was really windy today, you were right.
Many people reported power outages on local Facebook groups in Milliken and Johnstown on Thursday, October 24. The National Weather Service of Denver/Boulder reported sporadic high wind speeds. These were the Northern Colorado towns that saw the highest wind gusts.

Many Northern Colorado towns saw gusts at 40 miles per hour and higher. These locations saw the highest wind gusts.
- Loveland, Colorado - 47 MPH
- Greeley Airport - 47 MPH
- Northern Colorado Regional Airport - 49 MPH
- Pawnee Buttes - 52 MPH
- Fort Morgan, Colorado - 52 MPH
This Northern Colorado town saw the highest peak wind gusts on Thursday afternoon. The town of Milliken had wind gusts of 56 MPH. With wind speeds this high, it is clear to see why Milliken and parts of Johnstown had many residents reporting power outages.
