Scorching Triple Digit Heat Returns to Northern Colorado Next Week
It's always hot in Northern Colorado during the summer months, that is no secret. Daily temperatures can easily hover around the upper nineties in July and August. Some Coloradans like it hot while others prefer to retreat to air conditioning until milder milder temperatures can be tolerated in these months.
Colorado saw hot temperatures in the first half of July before cooler weather gave way to more tolerable temperatures. Unfortunately, if you do not like living in a triple-digit oven during the summer in Colorado, I have some bad news for you.
Colorado is no stranger to 100+ degree days in the summer and we still have weeks to go before fall arrives in the Centennial State. With summer being in full swing, more 100-degree days are on the way in Northern Colorado.

As we know, Mother Nature can always change course and give us less or more heat, depending on how she feels that day. The ultraviolet index for these triple-digit temperature days will also be at a maximum of 10. So, if you happen to be outside during these days, stay cool however you can keep hydrated, and be sure to wear sunscreen to protect your body from ultraviolet rays.
Also, can nice, brisk fall temperatures just hurry up and get here already? I am tired of sweating just by walking from my front door to my car.
