Meet Aurora: The NOCO Pet of the Week
If I could adopt all of the dogs I possibly could, I would do it in a heartbeat. Sadly, I cannot achieve this dream. You, however, might be looking to open your heart and home to your next best friend.
Thankfully, I get to tell you about an amazing pet every week that is waiting for their forever home. The NOCO Pet of the Week highlights animals that are available for adoption, right here in Northern Colorado.
Meet Aurora: The NOCO Humane Pet of the Week
Our featured NOCO Pet of the Week is Aurora. She is a 10-year-old Siberian husky mix that has been described as very sweet and shy while at the shelter. Arriving as a stray, Aurora is located at the NOCO Humane Greeley Campus at 6525 West 28th Street.

She is patiently awaiting the right person to bring her home so she can live out her golden years in peace and comfort. Aurora would do best in a home without children under the age of 12, and will also need to be the only dog in the home.
According to NOCO Humane's adoption page for Aurora, her adoption fee has been sponsored and includes the following perks:
- Spay or neuter surgery.
- General medical examination and testing for good health.
- Preliminary vaccinations.
- Microchip implant and registration.
- Collar and leash for safe travels home.
