According to Forbes, 20 cities in the United States have seen gigantic home value growth. These cities have home values that have grown three hundred percent or more in the past twenty years and Colorado has four cities on the list.

Glenwood Springs, Colorado, has seen a 333.4 percent increase in home values from 2004 to 2024 and placed 19th on the top 20 list. Boone, Colorado, is just ahead of Glenwood Springs, at 18th place with a 334.3 percent increase. Rifle, Colorado, is nearly in the middle of the list at 13th place with a 339.8 percent increase in the past 20 years.

These Colorado cities have nothing on the top spot on the list. Ranking in first place on the Forbes list of the top 20 cities with the greatest home value growth from 2004 to 2024. The median home value for this Colorado city was $256,000 in 2004. Today, the median home value in this town is $1.4 million.

The city of Carbondale, Colorado, has seen a 460.5 percent increase in home values in the past 20 years. That is pretty astounding considering Carbondale used to be a small mountain town nestled between Aspen and Glenwood Spring.
