If you are considering adding a dog, a cat, or a critter to your family, we highly recommend that you go to NOCO Humane first.

NOCO Humane, in my opinion, is the best place in Colorado to get a pet. Their staff truly cares about the animals in their care and are passionate about setting up each animal for success before they find their forever home.

Every week, we highlight a new animal that is available for adoption at NOCO Humane. Here is this week's Townsquare NoCo Pet of the Week.

Gigi is a cuddly and affectionate girl who loves nothing more than basking in the sunshine and exploring her surroundings.

Though she came to the shelter as a stray, she’s shown her sweet and vocal side, making it clear when she needs attention or a treat. Gigi is looking for a loving home where she can reign as the Queen of the castle, which means she’ll need to be the only cat in your life. If you’re patient and kind, Gigi will reward you with loyalty and affection.

What to Consider Before Adopting Gigi from NOCO Humane

Before adopting Gigi, there are a few important things to consider. She doesn’t enjoy being picked up and has sensitive spots, like her belly and feet, so she’s best for a home without young children under eight years old.

Gigi can become overstimulated at times, so she’ll need a patient owner who understands her boundaries.

With grace and compassion, she’ll warm up and show her affectionate side. If you’re ready to welcome a unique and independent kitty into your home, Gigi may be the perfect match.
