Each week, we like to highlight an animal that is available for adoption at NOCO Humane. If you are considering adding a pet to your household, we highly recommend looking at NOCO Humane first. In my opinion, NOCO Humane is the best place to get a pet in Northern Colorado.

I adopted my dog from NOCO Humane a few months ago. I was thrilled with the process.

Volunteers at NOCO Humane have been going above and beyond and they report that Cowboy has made huge strides in staying calm and keeping all paws on the ground when he greets people.

Cowboy will need daily and mental stimulation. He enjoys playing fetch and going on car rides. Additionally, trick training, puzzle toys, hiking, jogging, long walks, and dog sports will keep Cowboy and you very happy.

What to Consider Before Adopting Cowboy at NOCO Humane

Cowboy is a great little guy. One thing you should consider before adopting him is that he is a high-energy dog. He will need a lot of attention and daily stimulation to ensure that he lives the best life possible.

If you already have a dog, NOCO Humane recommends an introduction. Cowboy can get a bit overly playful and he gets very excited.

Also, Border Collies have herding instincts. Cowboy must be in a home without children under 12, cats, small dogs, and other small mammals.
