Former Loveland Police Officer Found Guilty of Civil Rights Violation
A former Loveland police officer has been found guilty of a civil rights violation.
Federal and local investigators teamed up on the case involving 30-year-old Dylan Miller.

Guilty Verdict Delivered in Court for On-Duty Misconduct
This former cop was tried in court where a jury found him guilty relating to an act he allegedly committed while on duty as a member of the Loveland Police Department.
In the statement from the U.S. District Attorney's office, Miller's trial took place over the course of two weeks.

Federal and Local Investigators Collaborate on Dylan Miller Case
Officials confirm that evidence presented in the trial showed that on the evening of August 3rd, 2023 Miller contacted a minor in North Lake Park while she was with a friend. He told the friend to leave, then "guided the victim" to a secluded area of the park and sexually assaulted her.

Sentencing for Former Loveland Officer Scheduled in Early 2026
Miller was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service following the guilty verdict, according to reports. He now faces a maximum penalty of life in prison for the civil rights offence.
The U.S. District Attorney's office confirms that sentencing will take place sometime in early 2026.
