Is This the Best Pumpkin Beer in All of Northern Colorado?
I am not a huge fan of pumpkin. In fact, I despise it. I hate pumpkin spice lattes and I gag at the thought of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. With the exception of one thing, pumpkin-flavored anything is an instant rejection to my palate.
The one thing that I like that involves pumpkin is a pumpkin beer. Even then, it becomes too much if a brewery overdoes it with nutmeg or cinnamon. There are a handful of breweries that make great pumpkin beers, but I think there is one in Northern Colorado that does it the best.
The Best Pumpkin Beer in Northern Colorado
In my humble opinion, you can find the best pumpkin beer on tap in Loveland, Colorado, at Sky Bear Brewery and Pub. Sky Bear Brewery and Pub opened in 2022 by a father-daughter duo in downtown Loveland. Sky Bear offers a great atmosphere to grab a glass of cold Colorado craft beer and they make an outstanding pumpkin ale.
Sky Bear's Harvest Moon Pumpkin Ale has an ABV of 6.4 percent and has just the right amount of pumpkin to give you those fall vibes without being too overpowering. Sky Bear's pumpkin ale is served in a pint glass with the option of a sugared rim that can enhance the flavors of fall even further.
