Larry Baker’s Vehicle Located at Watson Lake Near Laporte

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office has not released that they have found Baker, but they have found his vehicle parked at Watson Lake near Laporte. On June 19, the Larimer County Sheriff's Office announced that Baker's vehicle was located, but he was still not found.

Body Believed to Be Larry Baker Found Near Watson Lake

Multiple sources, including 9News, say that a body found near Watson Lake on Sunday, June 22, is believed to be Larry Baker. The Larimer County Sheriff's Office has not confirmed the identity yet or the cause of death.

Over 60 Searchers and Multiple Agencies Join Effort

A variety of Colorado agencies worked together during the search. Over 60 people participated in the search, and drones, sonar equipment, and dogs were also used during the search.

Watson Lake Was Key Location in Search Efforts

The Coloradoan reports that agencies focused on the Watson Lake area after Baker's vehicle was found parked. The Coloradoan also says that Baker was a fisherman and spent a lot of time at the lake, which is right by Laporte.

Identity and Cause of Death Still Pending Confirmation

CBS reports that the Larimer County Sheriff's Office will release the identity and cause of death at a later time.
