My New Favorite Hang Spot In Estes Park
After spending the weekend in beautiful Estes Park, I have a new appreciation for moonshine. Not that I didn't appreciate it before. I was in the middle of the road.
And then we randomly decided to stop into the Estes Park Distilling Co. right on Main Street, and I had some of the smoothest moonshine known to man. And that's not all they offer.
From food to drinks, if you're looking for a treat, you have to check out this Estes Park gem.
Drink Options
Small-batch alcohol is the name of the game, from moonshine (amazing) to vodka and whiskey. I was blown away by the selection of flavors.
My favorites include the peanut butter whiskey and the cinnafire whiskey. So good.
The website also offers up some drink recipes you can make at home with the products you purchase in the store.
Here are some very tempting recipes to try.
Apple pie and peach cobbler made from their whiskey selection, or maybe the Apple Sour concoction. Find the recipes on the Full Throttle Distillery website.
But what about food? Who doesn't get hungry when tipsy?
Food Options
Bob and Tony's Pizza is one of my favorite places to eat in Estes Park because the New York-style pizza always hits the spot. But it's so much more than pizza. You can also get yourself a calzone.
Atmosphere
Let's talk about how important atmosphere is when it comes to eating out. You can't beat the patio at Full Throttle Distillery. When the garage door connecting the patio to the bar and eating area is open, you'll be in heaven, especially with the breathtaking Estes Park backdrop.
So be sure to get up the mountain and try something new that may become your new favorite.
