Retro Snacks We Would Sell Our Souls To Taste One More Time

I'm a foodie. I also have the pallet of a 12-year-old. When I look back at my favorite childhood snacks, I feel sad because many of them are long gone.

Let's take a walk down memory lane and reminisce about the best snacks from back then that kids today will never get to try. Tragic.

Snacks that aren't around anymore

• Crystal Pepsi. My mom was able to get pallets of this crap through her job in the 90s. Crystal Pepsi was like water, just thicker and so sugary it was hard to finish an entire can. The Crystal Pepsi was free, but the dental bills weren't.
• Doritos 3D. Yes, I'm aware you can still buy regular Doritos, but for some reason, they taste much better in puffy triangle shapes.
• Orbits was something I personally could never get behind. It was essentially boba before boba was cool. To me, it felt like I was drinking backwashed chunks of food. Just never my thing, I suppose.
• Jell-O Pudding Pops were a luxury I only enjoyed at friends' houses. It was essentially frozen pudding, but it was as smooth as silk. Then creepy Bill Cosby drugged a bunch of women, and they discontinued a part of my childhood. Way to suck, Bill.
• Pizzarias Pizza chips tasted nothing like pizza. But my God, I could pound a bag by myself in 4 minutes flat. The secret is to not take any breaths.
• Nestle Alpine White. I wasn't particularly a fan of white chocolate because my grandma once gave me a chocolate bunny, and after I ate the whole thing, she told me she got it at a garage sale. But for some reason, this white chocolate bar was good enough to eat through the gag reflex.

Fun Tip: The Walmart in Fort Collins sometimes sneaks retro snacks into its store.
