Summer in Colorado is festival season. From crafts, music, food, and more, we love a good festival in the state of Colorado. Sometimes, there are so many festivals happening in Colorado, that you need to prioritize which ones you should go to.  If you like whiskey, you might want to check out this festival happening this summer down in Castle Rock, Colorado.

The Colorado Whiskey Fest will be taking place on Saturday, July 13, at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Not only will the Colorado Whiskey Fest have bourbons and whiskeys, there will also be tastings of wines, craft beers, and other spirits.

Some of Colorado's most recognizable whiskey brands will be at the Colorado Whiskey Fest this summer. Some of the many brands include 291 Distillery, Bear Creek, Lock+Co, Stranahan's, Rabbit Hole, High West, Rocker Spirits, Fireside, Tincup, Laws Whiskey House, The Heart Distillery and many more.

The Colorado Whiskey Fest will also have live music and a bunch of great giveaways too. There are two ticket options for the Colorado Whiskey Fest. Those options are adult and non-drinker. Tickets for the Colorado Whiskey Fest are $75 for adults and $35 for non-drinker tickets.

My friends, let me introduce you to one of our new favorite restaurants for breakfast in all of Colorado, Maggi's Kitchen. It's a quiet locally owned and run cafe in Longmont, Colorado, just west of I-25 and Hwy 119. Open daily from 6 am until 2 pm, they specialize in some of the best homestyle breakfast and lunch in the state. Plus, they're super adorable!
