Colorado has many amazing small towns to check out. I love living in Colorado because each city and town truly has its own identity and feel. Colorado has many small towns that are amazing, but which small town was recently named the best?

HGTV recently unveiled its list of the 40 best small-town Downtown areas across America. There are a ton of towns across the nation that I have never heard of. As I was scrolling through the list, I was shocked that only one Colorado town was mentioned.

When Is the Best Time to Visit Breckenridge?

Breckenridge did not have quite as many tourists in 2024 compared to other years. However, the tourists that did visit spent more money than in previous years.

A large portion of Breckenridge's economy relies on tourism dollars. Breckenridge is a phenomenal place to visit all year round. It is most famously known for being close to skiing and snowboarding, but I would recommend visiting Breckenridge in the summer, spring, or fall months as well.

My Perfect Weekend Getaway in Breckenridge

I plan on making another trip to Breckenridge this summer and staying for a weekend. My weekend is going to be filled with adventuring the shops downtown, hiking, fly fishing, and finally going on the gondola.
