Is The Kinect Worth It?

So as we all know the Kinect came out a couple weeks ago for the X-box 360. As an avid gamer I was a little skeptical about it being control free and saying  you are the controller.  Well I had a chance to mess around with one on display at a store and let me tell you it is truly remarkable! It is pretty accurate on your movement and all the games get every part of you involved! The sports game has tons of different activities, one for instance is track and field and it gauges how fast you are running in place to how fast you are in the game. If you just decide to kind of trot your character is not going to move very fast, if you sprint your character sprints. It is an amazing device! It has facial recognition and voice commands, plus when you are playing a game, depending on what game it is, itwill take pictures or videos of you playing and will show you after which is good for a laugh.

Is it the future of gaming and motion play? Maybe? Is it great for family and friends? Yes! It does cost $150 if you already own an x-box 360, if not, there are bundles available. And if you are on the fence about it I suggest to go to a electronics store and try one out.
