With the High Park Fire continuing to burn and and an estimated 37,000 acres consumed, most of us are feeling pretty helpless. With FEMA and the National Guard helping out our brave men and women on the front lines, we can help by donating. We can help those affected by the fire by visiting helpcoloradonow.org and choosing where you want to help. You can also help the animals that have been displaced by the fire by visiting the Larimer Human Society website or bring dog and cat food to their shelter and if you would like to help out the larger animals you can donate hay to The Ranch off of I-25.ATTENTION!!! Second Chance Thrift and Second Chance Veterans Charity are opening their doors to those that have been affected by the High Park Fire. We have an abundance of clothing and household items that we are willing to donate to those displaced. Any donations of clothing or household items will be greatly appriciated to help in this cause. Also for the next two weeks 20% off store sales will be donated to the American Red Cross to help those affected by this horrible fire.

Here is a smoke outlook for you as well;

Periods of Moderate to Locally Heavy smoke are likely near the High Park fire west of Ft. Collins and in surrounding areas of the Front Range, including Ft. Collins, Greeley, Loveland, Longmont, Boulder, Denver, and Colorado Springs. The smoke will move to the northwest through northeast on Monday. IF VISIBILITY IS LESS THAN 5 MILES IN SMOKE IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD, SMOKE HAS REACHED LEVELS THAT ARE UNHEALTHY. If smoke is thick or becomes thick in your neighborhood you may want to remain indoors. This is especially true for those with heart disease, respiratory illnesses, the very young, and the elderly. Consider limiting outdoor activity when moderate to heavy smoke is present. Consider relocating temporarily if smoke is present indoors and is making you ill.
