Here Are 5 Fun Local Spring Break Ideas
It's Spring Break time and if your house is like mine, you can't keep these kids coupled up or you're gonna go crazy. I'm here to help with 5 things locally you can do with your family this Spring Break.
Things To Do In Colorado For Spring Break
I swear, we always talk about taking a trip somewhere over Spring Break, but it never works out. Mostly because the airlines know people wanna travel around this time and crank up the prices a bit. The alternative? Just sit around with your kids all week while they stare endlessly at their phones. Just kidding. getting out of the house and doing fun things around town! I know some already had your break but about half of NoCo still has theirs coming up. Here are 5 ideas you can drive around town and do with your family over their week-long break or whenever for that matter.
Great Wolf Lodge In Colorado Springs
Just down I-25 in Colorado Springs, is the only Colorado location for the Great Wolf Lodge. The giant waterpark is their main attraction but they have so much to do there including mini-golf, a ropes course, arcade, and more. It's a great way to spend a couple of days with the family.
Dinosaur National Park
Now, this is a bit of a road trip at about 5 hours from NoCo, but the Dinosaur National Park would be an awesome way to spend a day during Spring Break. It's so big it starts in Colorado and ends in Utah. Kids love the Carnegie Dinosaur Quarry, where there are about 1,500 dinosaur bones left in place in a wall of a cliff. Sounds neat for sure.
Fort Fun In Fort Collins
It's funny to me how many people drive by Fort Fun on Mulberry in Fort Collins but have never actually gone inside. We venture there probably once or twice a year and have a blast. Go-karts, mini-golf, laser tag, arcade, and more. This is the ultimate place to play during Spring Break.
Beaver Run Resort
Located in Breckenridge, Colorado, the Beaver Run Resort is way more than a ski resort. With a ton of hot tubs, a big outdoor-indoor pool, a huge game room, and more, your fam will have plenty to do during this fun Spring Break getaway in the Mountains.
The Summit
With three locations in Colorado, pick your favorite and head out for a day of fun at The Summit. Bowling, laser tag, games, it's very easy to lose track of time and let the whole day get away. They're also offering up this cool doorbuster to save you some money.
With so many options around our great state and beyond, hopefully, these five things help you get some plans on the books to have a very memorable Spring Break. Considering its the first "normal" Spring Break in two years, it shouldn't be hard to beat the last two.
