Help Settle an Argument: Which Way Do You Put Your Glasses in the Cabinet

I need some help settling this argument between myself and a friend. Drink glasses. You put them away after you take them out of your dishwasher, but which way do you put them in the cabinet? right side up or upside down? 

I say you put them in upside down to keep dust and other elements out of your clean glass.

My friend says the opposite... He says it's too much of a hassle to flip the glass over when you take it out to grab a drink. Really? I mean... Really? Too much of a hassle? It's a simple flip. Literally less than a single second. I also asked him about the dust that accumulates. He said "that's a simple fix, just rinse out the glass". I would think washing out the glass takes a bit longer than just simply flipping it over.

So what say you? How do you put your glasses in the cabinet, right side up or upside down?
