Help Me Convince My Wife We Should Get a Pet Duck

I need your help convincing my wife having a pet as a duck is a good move.

The past weekend we went in to Tractor Supply Co. off of Mulberry and i-25 in Fort Collins.  I am usually in there once or twice a month depending on how fast the dogs go through their food. As we are walking around, I noticed that the baby chicks are there.  Aww cute came out of my mouth as we walk by, then I come to a dead stop.  Ducklings? They have ducklings? I am looking into the bin and there about three dozen of them in there. Mostly the little yellow ones with a few black fuzzy ducklings sprinkled in the mix. I told my wife that I really wanted one and she pretty much dismissed my needs and walked away.  Rude, right?  Well I was being serious! We own a home now and they can’t be too much of a hassle.  Cheap to feed and a kiddie pool in the backyard would make for a pretty awesome conversation starter!

So here I sit, still trying to convince my wife to let me have one.   I don’t think it’s going to fly (no pun intended) but I figured some of you could help me out. You know, instead of asking Google.  Should my wife let me get a pet duck?
