Handcuffed Suspect Flees From Police, Jumps Into Lake

"Go jump in a lake" is a rude way to tell someone to leave you alone. Actually jumping in a lake is a stupid way to evade police, especially while wearing handcuffs.

According to KLTV, a 31-year-old man in Texas led police on an hour-long manhunt after he jumped into Lake Sam Rayburn (while still handcuffed) and tried to escape custody.

Yes, he hid in the woods, then jumped in a lake and tried to swim away...with handcuffs on. As you can imagine, that little plan didn't work out for him.
