You've worked for months coming up with the "perfect" costume for Halloween and need a place to show it off. You'll wear it to work, perhaps a house party; how about a very big party?

There's a Halloween party in Denver that wants to see that costume and you could win some serious cash. You've invested your own money and your time, why not give it a shot at winning that money back, and then some?

If anything, at this party you are going to see some of the most interesting and fun costumes, as they are also going for the cash.

When it comes to talking about great costumes I seem to always flash back to those great Halloween episodes of "Rosanne;" that show had a ton of fun coming up with ways for the Connors to have a great Halloween.

Halloween Party in Denver Includes $10,000 Costume Contest

Coloween, on October 26, 2024 in Denver is going to be humongous; they're expecting 4,000 people to attend. Three of those attending will walk away with their share of the $10,000 costume contest.

Tickets to just get into Coloween (a jungle theme this year) on October 26, 2024 are $60 for general admission and $80 for VIP. It's one of the biggest Halloween parties in the state, and one of the biggest costume contests.

  • First Place: $7,500
  • Second Place: $1,500
  • Third Place: $1,000

This is serious; sure $1,000 or $1,500 are nothing to sneeze at, but jumping up another $6,000 for the place prize is intense.

Coloween takes place at the National Western Complex in Denver at the fairly new Stockyards Event Center. The venue is big and nice; this isn't some seedy warehouse in a sketchy part of Denver. It will be well worth your General Admission or VIP ticket price.

Plus, there's that costume contest. Pre-registered contestants will be judged on three things:

  • Creativity.
  • Difficulty.
  • Authenticity.

The top 20 contestants will advance to a second round, then the final 10 will be voted on by the party attendees.
