Greeley Will Pay to Improve Your Neighborhood and Fund Block Parties
Greeley neighborhoods can now apply for thousands to improve the quality of their neighborhoods, but it doesn't stop there. You can also apply for money to fund block and clean-up parties.
Any neighborhood in Greeley can apply for up to $5,000 a year.
In order to receive a grant a majority of neighborhood residents must be in favor of it.
These grants will be used for projects that benefit neighborhood common areas permanently. For example: sidewalks, landscape work, playgrounds, handicap accessibility, etc.
Neighborhoods can apply for the Neighborhood Improvement Grants until November 15.
According to the City of Greeley, neighborhood groups can also sponsor a clean-up party or block party this summer and apply for a small stipend to help defray some cost of food.
