It's that time of the year again. The sun is shinning, the grass is getting greener and birds are going through windshields.

Yup, with the warmer weather, the geese are getting more active and staying really close to roads. Geese close to the road mean that there is more of a danger of them wandering or flying into the road. This is exactly what happened in Adams County.

The Colorado State Patrol shared a photo of a goose that went straight through a windshield and got tangled up in the steering wheel. The goose did not survive the impact, but the driver and passengers were fine.

Be careful and aware out there folks!
