This has got to be one of the coolest things that comes from something bad and it happened in Australia. It happened to a cluster of lakes that were hit by wildfire around them, then rain came and washed the ash into the lakes causing Bioluminescence, which is when a living organism lights up at night. What exactly caused it was algae, Noctiluca scintillans, that was introduced into the lake from the rain that caused the ash to enter the lake. I want to find a lake that has this and swim in it and pretend I was in the movie "Avatar."
