Girl’s Throat Explodes From Drinking

Talk about a red flag on not to drink alcohol.

Megan Thomason went out to celebrate her 21st birthday and became so ill that she ended up in the hospital. Crazy night right? Well, it is far worse than just some alcohol poisoning and a hangover.

She spent the night drinking triple shots, which adds up to a lot of drinks and then went home. She became ill and began vomiting. She threw up so violently that she ended up tearing her wind pipe.  On top of that, she was diagnosed with surgical emphysema which caused her face and neck to swell. In fact, she could have suffocated.  The final part that makes this a trifecta of her not to drink, while at the hospital the doctors found out that she lacks the enzymes to break down alcohol.

So after having a night of drinking and almost dying for numerous reasons, she says that she has given up alcohol for good.
