Girl Saves Father’s Life With Facebook

This is an interesting story about how social media helped someone. No, it wasn't one of those "share this pic" things either.

A girl in Virgina jumped on Facebook after a storm came through their neighborhood causing a large tree to fall on her father and his friends that were sitting on the porch. Her father and his friends were pinned underneath the heavy debris and not responding to the families cries. The 10-year-old girl tried calling for police on her cellphone but there was no service due to the storm. Not having a land line, she took to the internet because they still had wifi. She made a video on her phone and uploaded it to Facebook pleading for someone to call for help.

Someone heard and helped and her father and friends were taken to the hospital and treated for broken bones.
