Okay, so you won't actually be on "House Hunters," but you sure will feel like it.

I'm talking about the Holiday Home Tour, an annual event that allows you to tour five luxurious homes in the Northern Colorado area.

Not only are the homes already stunning, but they will also be adorned with beautiful decorations from the best local designers and florists.

The event takes place from 2-7 p.m. on Friday, November 22 and on from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 23. This year, it will feature homes from the Highland Meadows neighborhood in Windsor.

Tickets are $25, with proceeds benefiting the Voices Carry Child Advocacy Center (CAC), an organization that works to prevent and respond to child abuse in Larimer County.

This response includes making sure that every child who comes to the CAC has their own voice to use throughout their healing process.

The CAC also focuses heavily on preventing child abuse, and employs their prevention programs in local schools.

"They [children] are aware. They know what they're supposed to looking for. They know they've been told to listen to their hearts and to tell someone when they question it," said Susan Butters, a board member for the organization. "And that's what is so great about the prevention program."

Butters is speaking from experience, as her own daughter's school participated in the program. Once the program was completed, Butters witnessed how much more aware her daughter had become about potential danger and how she could prevent it.

However, in order to continue advocating for at-risk children, the CAC needs the community's help, which is why fundraising events like the Holiday Home Tour are so important.

"It's amazing...the enthusiasm behind the community in such a fun and festive event that actually is a fundraiser," said Butters. "We're really able to make a huge impact financially for the Child Advocacy Center, and it comes around to be able to...really, really help the kids of Northern Colorado."
