Every year, the Farmer's Almanac releases an extended weather forecast getting the country ready for whatever winter has to offer...and 2019 does not look like it's gonna be pretty.

Remember that polar vortex we dealt with last year? Well, looks like another one is on the way, as the Almanac is warning a frigid future for the U.S.

According to Fox News, for "the coldest outbreak of the season", we should be bundling up on the final week of January 2020, going into February. The Farmer's Almanac's website is also branding this upcoming season a 'polar coaster', with a season full of "chills and thrills". Yikes.

Luckily, it sounds like the coldest bite of the U.S. will be in the Northeast rather than over here in Colorado, but we will receive above-average winter precipitation, and yes, possibly another Polar Vortex.

At least now you know when to book that tropical vacation: I'm thinking January is your best bet. For more on this, check out the Farmer's Almanac right here.
